Do not use ordinary online payment as the request
Brownsville’s Pay Tickets Online page explicitly excludes driving-safety requests from that service. Ask the court at 956-548-7181 for the application, required supporting documents and court costs for your case. The court is on the first floor of City Plaza at 1034 E Levee Street.
Juvenile cases need a different approach
The court’s juvenile guidance says defendants age 16 or younger must appear with a parent or guardian and request driving safety from the judge. That is separate from an adult’s request process.
Get a written completion checklist
The reviewed city pages do not publish a complete adult DSC timetable. Ask which driving record and affidavit are required, how to deliver the certificate and what date all documents must arrive. Spanish-language assistance is listed on the court’s main page.
Official instructions and forms
Check the linked court material for changes before filing. This is a Bright Driving Safety guide, not an official court website or an individual eligibility decision.
After court approval
Ready for the course?
Bright Driving Safety is TDLR Course Provider #CP1265. The online course is $25; court costs and driving-record fees are separate. Submit your certificate and all documents required by your court on time.
