Wait for the court-assigned date
Place 3’s sheet explains that the plea and driving-safety request must be accepted before the court gives you a completion date. Keep that notice; do not start your own 90-day calculation from enrollment. The linked sheet is dated 2020, so verify its court-payment amount and current filing instructions with the clerk.
Prepare one complete return packet
The sheet calls for the certified Type 3A record, signed course certificate, insurance and the specified court payment, returned together by the due date. Ask the clerk whether any requirements have changed before assembling the packet. The court also states that it does not recommend particular schools; approval of your request is distinct from choosing a provider.
Official instructions and forms
Check the linked court material for changes before filing. This is a Bright Driving Safety guide, not an official court website or an individual eligibility decision.
After court approval
Ready for the course?
Bright Driving Safety is TDLR Course Provider #CP1265. The online course is $25; court costs and driving-record fees are separate. Submit your certificate and all documents required by your court on time.
