The first two weeks are for requesting approval
Corpus Christi requires a written plea, driving-safety affidavit, license, insurance and court costs. Use the city’s Request Defensive Driving page and its linked case portal to choose the dismissal option. Paying the course provider alone does not notify the court of your request.
Use the order to plan the return packet
The court allows 90 days under its order, a different deadline from the initial 14-day request window. Read the approval for the exact date and required completion evidence before starting. Arrange for the certificate and certified record early enough to submit the entire packet and keep confirmation of delivery.
