Explore Options before paying
Dallas’s online process asks you to locate the citation, choose Explore Options, verify contact information and provide license and insurance information with the required payment. The court says approval normally arrives by mail in five to seven business days. Wait for approval before taking the course or assembling the final packet. A later request may cost more or be unavailable.
Three documents close the loop
Return the course certificate, certified Type 3A driving record and notarized affidavit by the deadline. Dallas says it does not grant extensions under this process and uses the postmark for mailed submissions. Keep copies and proof of mailing. A remaining balance displayed online is not necessarily a new bill: the court explains that it clears after the case is dismissed.
