Have the clerk check the offense
Its instructions distinguish ordinary driving-safety requests from motorcycle training and specialized child-passenger safety courses. Describe the actual charge when requesting the correct application.
Follow juvenile appearance instructions
A defendant age 16 or younger must attend the assigned setting with a parent or guardian to request the course. Denison says that setting is identified in the mailed court notice. Keep the notice and citation together and confirm any discrepancy with the clerk before the date arrives.
