Garland Municipal Court
Garland’s online-services notice currently limits driving-safety requests during a system transition. Mail, counter and night-drop instructions remain important.

Check the online-services notice first
Garland’s driver-safety page advertises online requests, but its newer Online Court Services notice says driving-safety requests are unavailable online during the system transition. Check that notice before relying on the portal. The court lists in-person, mail and night-drop alternatives.
What to include in a mailed request
Send a written request identifying the citation, your mailing address, and copies of your license and insurance. Garland says it will mail next steps and payment instructions or a denial. Keep the postmark and a copy of what you send. The night drop is to the right of the front doors at 1791 W Avenue B.
Wait for the case-specific instructions
Use the court’s approval to establish your completion deadline and return method. A portal outage does not extend the citation’s appearance date.
