Explore Options is the dismissal route
McKinney’s portal instructions distinguish the white Explore Options button from the blue Pay Now button, which closes the case through payment. Choose driving safety when offered, enter the required plea and provide your license, insurance, affidavit and court costs.
Save the request and due date
The city’s request form describes 90 days from the request. Follow the due date issued for your case, rather than starting your own clock when you buy or begin the course. The completion packet includes the signed certificate and certified Type 3A record.

Ready for the course?
Bright Driving Safety is TDLR Course Provider #CP1265. The online course is $25; court costs and driving-record fees are separate. Submit your certificate and all documents required by your court on time.
