Make the written request at the outset

Willis lists a plea, court costs, license, insurance and affidavit for driving-safety approval. Submit the request by the appearance date on the citation. Ask the clerk to verify eligibility before purchasing a course.

Keep both dates in your paperwork

The court describes a 90-day period to return the signed court copy of the certificate and the certified driving record. A show-cause date is supplied when the initial paperwork is issued. Do not treat that later hearing as additional time to finish: use the completion date in your approval.

Send documents to Willis Municipal Court

The city court is at 501 W Montgomery Street. Montgomery County JP1 also has a Willis office, but it is a separate court. Verify the citation’s court name and case number on every submission.
